We are located in Gallatin TN 939 Newton Ln, Gallatin, TN 37066, we have a lake view of Old Hickory Lake. We are 34 miles from downtown Nashville and 30 miles from Nashville International Airport.
What is your capacity?
While our standard capacity is 471 people we recommend hosting events for 200 guests or fewer. We have 200 fruit-wood chiavari chairs included in the rental fee. For corporate events depending on the seating needs, we can accommodate 250 guests or fewer.
What is the average cost for weddings?
While the pricing for our weddings can vary based on which of our packages are selected they range from $8,900 ( venue rental only) - to $28,450 ( all-inclusive packages). This depends on your guest count and if you choose to book an all-inclusive package. We do try to be flexible and work with your budget by allowing elopements and venue rental-only options starting at $750 an hour with a two-hour minimum.
What Types of Events do you host?
We always say “ the sky is the limit” at our venue. This applies to the type of event you can host. We have hosted everything from weddings, baby showers, graduation parties, fundraisers, corporate events, and celebrations of all kinds. Whatever you decide to celebrate we can help make it memorable and stress-free as possible.
Does our staff handle the setup and cleanup?
Yes we do, our biggest goal is to relieve stress from our clients we will always set up the agreed-upon floor plan. The all-inclusive package includes a full set-up of decor and rented items. Our expert staff along with any vendors you are working with together as a team set up the ceremony and reception space so that you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your day. If you book the venue rental only the setup for decor and rentals is not included but can be added on for an additional fee.
Do you require liability insurance?
Yes. Although Old Hickory Farms is fully licensed and insured, we require our couples to obtain a private event insurance policy. This covers the couple as the host of the event. We also require all vendors to be licensed and insured and to send us a copy of their proof of insurance listing our venue as the additional insured.
Do you have a space for the bride and groom to get ready?
Yes we do, we have a state-of-the-art bridal suite with makeup stations, ample plug-ins, and couches for the wedding party and families to relax. We have a separate dining space and a full bathroom with a full bathroom. The groom’s suite is located in a separate barn we call Hickory Den. We have couches, a pool table, large TV and lake views. Both spaces offer plenty of room for larger parties and space to relax throughout the day.
Can we bring in outside vendors?
While we do allow outside vendors we do highly encourage our preferred list. If you do opt to bring in outside vendors, they must be approved, licensed and insured. They also must be willing to fill out our vendor agreement before the event itself.
Will there be staff on the property to help with our event?
If you book an all-inclusive package your event will come staffed with a wedding coordinator, venue team, and venue coordinator. If you go with one of our venue rental-only packages there will be a venue coordinator onsite but all events are required to have a licensed and insured day-of event coordinator.
